frentubo in GP1 with LCR





After the last round of 2008 season, which took place in Valencia two weeks ago, the LCR Honda MotoGP racer Randy de Puniet is enjoying the break before the next winter test session in February at Sepang track (Malaysia). The 27-year-old hit the crowded 66th edition of EICMA fair in Milano last Friday and Saturday to visit several supporters stands like Rev’it, Denso, GIVI, Malossi, Rizoma, PBR, Rapid Bike, Fren Tubo etc… including the Mediaset TV mobile station to meet the MotoGP fans. The famous Salone del Ciclo e Motociclo (EICMA) is on the of the biggest two-wheels fair in Europe and reached half million of visitors last week end. The Frechman had a long and interesting tour of the Italian fair including an amazing interview with the Italian TV commentators Guido Meda and Franco Bobbiese at Mediaset TV on-site stage which has been followed by hundreds of fans. Randy: “It was a very interesting experience. The fans were very warm with me and I had to stop every two metres to sign autographs and to take pictures with people. I like this part of my job! The fair was very big and crowded and full of my pictures and posters everywhere. I’d like to thank the Team supporters like Rev’it, Denso, GIVI, Malossi, Rizoma, PBR, Rapid Bike and Fren Tubo for their great hospitality and their support during the last season”.

2008 Enduro World ChampionshipRound 8: European GP, Mende (France)October 11-12 2008JOHNNY AUBERT WORLD CHAMPION!Leader of the E2 class before this last round finally organized in Mende, home of the French Enduro, Johnny Aubert (Yamaha UFO Corse Michelin) didn’t failed and claimed his first World Title, three years after his arrival in Enduro. He offers the title to Michelin, who has at least one rider with the blue cap on the final podium of each class.Easy leader of the E1 class, Finn Mika Ahola claimed his title with gallantry during the first day of racing, winning on Saturday and securing already his second consecutive crown, the first one in this class. Second of the day Marc Germain (Yamaha France Michelin) was a great support for Ahola as he beats Ivan Cervantes, the last rival of Ahola! On Sunday Ahola won again, and beats Cervantes and Germain; despite a couple of great results in the second part of the series, Germain finished fourth of the championship behind Italian Simone Albergoni (Yamaha UFO Corse Michelin).In the E2 class Johnny Aubert didn’t take any risks, and secured two results on the podium with a second and a third position. It was more than what he needed to get the title, and the former Motocross rider offered a last crown to the team Yamaha UFO Corse Michelin, beating Salminen, one of the legendary Enduro riders. Second and fifth of the race, Antoine Meo (Husqvarna CH Racing Michelin) and Rodrig Thain (TM Michelin) confirmed that former Motocross riders can be fast in Enduro too; they finished fourth and fifth in the final classification for their first (Meo) and second (Thain) attempt.
