The photo shows Fren Tubo type 2 hose kit, which has the following characteristics:

304 stainless steel hose, PTFE braiding and PA red colour coating.
The fittings are made in aluminium alloy and are black anodized.

The kit is composed of  5 hoses; the unions are as per the conformation of the standard ones and there no assembly modifications are foreseen.


The hose kit is available in the following variants of materials and colours:

TYPE 1
Stainless steel braided hose with steel end fittings (480 hours of resistance to rust, accordingly to DIN ISO 4628-3 Standard) and with steel bolts as completion.
The hose is also available transparent, grey, black, blue, red, yellow, white, green or orange covered.

TYPE 2
Stainless steel braided hose with anodized alloy end fittings.
The hose is also available transparent, grey, black, blue, red, yellow, white, green or orange covered.
Standard fittings colourings are: red bushings, blue fittings and red bolts as completion.
Upon request , the fittings are available also in a uniform red, blue or black colour version, as per customer’s preference.

TYPE 3
Kevlar® braided hose with blue colour covering and anodized alloy end fittings.
The hose is also available red, yellow, black, green, orange, white covered and the end fittings in a uniform red, blue or black colour.
Standard fittings colourings are: red bushings, blue fittings and red bolts as completion.
Upon request , the fittings are available also in a uniform red, blue or black colour version, as per customer’s preference.

TYPE 4
Double carbon fiber braided hose and anodized alloy end fittings.
Standard fittings colourings are: stainless steel bushings, black fittings and black bolts as completion.
Upon request , the fittings are available also in a uniform red, blue or black colour version, as per customer’s preference.

All the versions are TÜV approved.


Fren Tubo produces only and exclusively in the Factories situated in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) and Fürth (Germany) and does never consent to the outsiders to assembly proper parts.

Fren Tubo products can always be easily traced because they bring Fren Tubo name marked on each fixing bushing (as per specific Standards for brake lines).

Since Fren Tubo uses softer washers, torque for the socket-head screws is different from the ones of the vehicle manufacturers and should never exceed 17 Nm for the aluminium screws and 22 Nm for the steel ones.

Nella foto il nostro tipo 2 : tubo in acciaio inox 304,treccia in PTFE e rivestimento in PA colore rosso,
i raccordi sono in lega di alluminio anodizzati neri.
Il kit e' composto da 5 tubazioni ; gli attacchi riprendono la conformazione di quelli standard e non sono previste modifiche per il montaggio.

queste le possibili varianti di materiali e colori:

tipo 1- tubo in treccia inox ,disponibile rivestito trasp-grigio-nero-blu-rosso-arancione-giallo-bianco-verde
e raccordi in acciaio (resistenza alla corrosione 480 ore secondo DIN ISO 4628-3)

tipo 2-tubo come sopra,raccordi in lega di alluminio;colorazione standard boccola rossa,raccordo blu e bullone rosso.Su richiesta si possono abbinare  i colori blu-rosso-nero a piacimento

tipo 3-tubo con treccia in kevlar (du pont)colore standard di rivestimento blu,su richiesta disponibile
rosso,giallo,nero,arancione,verde,rosso,bianco e raccordi in lega di alluminio (per colori vedi tipo 2)

tipo 4-tubo con doppia treccia in fibra Carbotech ,boccola di fissaggio in acciaio inox e raccordo in lega di alluminio colore standard nero (altri colori vedi tipo 2)

tutte le versioni sono omologate.

Frentubo produce solo ed esclusivamente negli stabilimenti di Casalecchio (Bo) e Furth (Germania) e non
consente ad esterni di assemblare le  proprie parti; I prodotti Frentubo sono rintracciabili sempre perche' riportano il nome frentubo stampato su ogni boccola di fissaggio.(come previsto del resto dalla normativa freni).

Le coppie di serraggio sono diverse da quelle previste dal costruttore del veicolo poiche' noi utilizziamo
guarnizioni piu' tenere.(22Nm per i raccordi in acciaio e 17Nm per quelli in lega)
