TRIUMPH FOR ALONSHOW AND BOSCOSCURO IN THE FIRST RACE OF THE 2024 SEASON

López started the 2024 season in the most spectacular way possible, taking victory in the first race of the year. Aldeguer, however, finished the Qatar Grand Prix in sixteenth position.

With his Boscoscuro, Alonshow took the top step of the podium in a race whose victory was highly sought after from the beginning. After a phenomenal start, Alonso managed to prevail in every battle until he crossed the finish line first. His triumph in the season opener certainly demonstrated his will to win.

For his teammate, however, it was a complicated race. A start that saw Fermín fall back from his starting position and, despite managing to gain ground for half the race, he then failed to maintain the pace, closing the Qatar Grand Prix in sixteenth position.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 1st

“I’m very happy. I can’t find the words to describe how happy it makes me to win the first race of the championship. We had a good pace and managed to take the victory lap after lap. Now the goal is to concentrate for the next race”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16th

“I certainly can’t say I’m satisfied with the result. In addition to the start which wasn’t the best, I had some problems that made me drop back to sixteenth position. However, it is the first race and we have another twenty ahead of us to demonstrate how much we are worth”.

Aldeguer domina in Tailandia! Thailand Moto2: Aldeguer dominates as title battle moves to Malaysia

Fermin Aldeguer took charge of the Moto2 Thailand Grand Prix, while behind Tony Arbolino did enough to prevent Pedro Acosta being crowned on his first title shot.

Aldeguer dominated the hot and humid Moto2 Thailand Grand Prix, leading from a pole start to the chequered flag, as the title battle played out further down the track.

MotoE at Mugello: the LCR E-Team achieves two podiums in the Italian GP

MotoE at Mugello - The LCR E-Team achieves two podiums in the Italian GP. In Race 1, Eric Granado gets on the third step of the podium while in Race 2 it's his teammate Miquel Pons to finish the race in third place.

MotoE at Mugello - The two races of the Italian GP, third round of the MotoE 2022 on the Mugello circuit, once again showed how close the electric category of MotoGP is. In both races, the two riders of the LCR E-Team were among the protagonists of the races of MotoE on the Tuscan circuit. In Race 1 Eric Granado had passed under the checkered flag in fourth position but a technical irregularity was found in the bike of the rider who preceded him. For this reason, the Brazilian rider of the LCR team gained a position and moved to the third step of the podium.
A similar fate went to Miquel Pons in Race 2; the Spaniard gained third place after the race, when the rider who preceded him at the finish was penalized for not respecting the yellow flag.

After the Italian GP, the LCR duo is confirmed in second and fifth place in the overall standings, with Eric Granado at 29 points from the leader of the category and Miquel Pons behind by 54 points.

SUPER NAKAGAMI , SUPER FRENTUBO!

Takaaki Nakagami produced a brilliant ride to take fifth place at the Italian Grand Prix, his best-ever finish in the MotoGP class. Starting from tenth on the grid, the LCR Honda IDEMITSU star was composed and consistent throughout as he finished as the top independent rider on a memorable day at Mugello.

Having struggled with his starts in previous rounds, Taka made a good getaway on Sunday as he moved into sixth position by the first corner. He remained part of the leading group for much of the race, before a group of four riders pulled clear at the front. But the LCR man showed impressive speed to move past his rivals in the battle for fifth and held that position to claim the most notable result of his career so far.

#30 Takaaki Nakagami (5th – 41’40.329)

“It was an amazing day and an amazing race. I was really strong from the start and I know that this is a weak point for me. In all the races after a couple of laps I’ve dropped positions and then fight back in the middle and at the end. But today, I was really strong at the beginning of the race and then tried to keep the position. At the end I knew that (Maverick) Vinales was really pushing hard, but I never gave up and fought hard. It’s the best result for me, I was the second Honda and fifth place is amazing. I didn’t expect it, it’s a fantastic weekend for me and I want to thank the team who did a really great job all weekend, the bike worked really well.”

Team Speed Up, JORGE NAVARRO AMAZED EVERYBODY AT THE GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE WITH THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE POLE

A quasi metà gara Jorge è secondo, determinato a raggiungere Marquez.

DI GIANNANTONIO ENDED THE GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE TWELFTH AFTER A SUPERB COMEBACK

The Lightech Speed Up team ends the French weekend with flying colors and greets Le Mans with so much satisfaction for the third consecutive podium of Jorge Navarro, runner-up, and the excellent comeback of teammate Fabio Di Gannantonio, who reached the points zone with the twelfth placement. After the wet qualifying on Saturday, the technicians changed the setting of the motorbikes because, although the sky was cloudy, a dry race was ahead. The poleman Navarro, after a good start lost some positions and on the first lap he was behind Vierge in fourth place. Almost halfway through the race, Jorge got second, determined to reach Marquez. Some driving errors took away the possibility for the number nine of the Lightech Speed Up team to fight for the victory, but once again he took a well-deserved second place and the fastest lap of the race. Fabio Di Giannantonio, twentieth on the grid, faced the race with the determination and the awareness of being able to compete and once again demonstrated his growth with the Speed Up bike, crossing the finish line in twelfth position.

JORGE NAVARRO#9 – 2nd

“I am really very happy about this weekend, especially because Le Mans is a circuit that has always created me some problems in this category. After the practice on Friday when we didn’t have a good feeling with the bike, I and my staff were really good at figuring out how to solve the problems and then get the pole in the wet. This morning, with a dry track, we made some changes to the setting and during the warm up I realized we could fight for the win. I’m sorry for the mistakes I made at the corner 8, without which we could reach the first position, but we still managed to finish second and take the third consecutive podium. We are super happy, twenty points more and third place in the standings”.

FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO#21 – 12th
“I’m happy because it was a pretty tricky race and after a complicated weekend we managed to do well. Starting from the twentieth position was not easy but I did my best and managed to recover some positions. We need to work better in free practice sessions and in qualifying to try to start later and then improve especially in the first part of the race where we were a bit slow”.

JORGE NAVARRO AMAZED EVERYBODY AT THE GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE WITH THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE POLE

The Lightech Speed Up team riders returned to action at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit to determine their position on tomorrow’s starting grid. As expected, the last morning free practice session was affected by the rain, which did not allow Navarro and Di Giannantonio to improve Friday’s free practices time. Both riders then faced the Q1, again with a wet track. Jorge finished the qualifying session with the fourth time in 1’49.736 which allowed him to access Q2. On his return to the track, ready to fight for the top positions, Navarro took the lead improving his time every lap until taking the second consecutive pole of the season.Di Giannantonio showed an excellent feeling in the wet in the Fp3, in which he took the twelfth time in 1’46.362 with a gap of +0.244. Fabio faced the Q1 with determination but due to a fall at the start of the session and the traffic on track he almost reached access to the Q2, taking the twentieth position.First and seventh row of the starting grid for the Lightech Speed Up team riders ahead of tomorrow’s Grand Prix de France race that will start at 12.20 pm.

JORGE NAVARRO#9 – 16th in 1’37.232

“We did complicated free practice sessions, with a lot of problems, especially yesterday when we couldn’t find the feeling to make a good time that allowed direct access to Q2. Today in the wet it was initially complicated, but the team did a really good job. We have figured out where to improve and in the end we managed to get to Q2 and reach pole. I’m really happy and confident for tomorrow”.

FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO#21 – 21st in 1’37.488
“The day had started well. The feeling with the bike was excellent with both wet and damp tracks, we felt ready and confident to make a great Q1 and pass in Q2. Too bad for the small crash at the beginning of Q1 and shame about not being able to get into Q2 where we could certainly do well considering that with the time of Q1 we could start in sixth position on the grid”.
