After the ultimate round of the 2009 season in Valencia, the premier class riders and Teams will be reconvening at Sepang in February for the first test session of 2010 including the LCR Honda MotoGP racer Randy de Puniet who will now have time to continue the full rehabilitation of the ankle he broke back in August. Before moving to the hospital to remove the screws from the left ankle, the Frenchman hit the 67th edition of EICMA fair in Milano last Saturday together with the Team Manager Lucio Cecchinello. The pair have been visiting the Team supporters stands (GIVI, REVI’T!, Arrow, PBR, Rapid Bike, Rizoma, Fren Tubo, Elf, Progrip and Mediaset) for the whole day taking photos and signing postcards to hundreds of fans. Randy: “Before going to the hospital to remove the seven screws from my ankle, I preferred to spend one day at EICMA with Lucio and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! The fans have been very warm with me and the Team supporters have been very friendly. I’d like to thank them for their support during the last season and hope to share positive results with them in the future”. Cecchinello: “EICMA is one of the most important event for those who work in the two wheels market and it is also a unique event for the fans because they can meet their favourites. Randy has been very friendly and nice with everybody and I am pretty sure we will be coming next year too thanks to the warmth and the hospitality of our supporters”.
